Collaborative Entrepreneurship: Virtual Session for Sole Proprietors

Collaborative Entrepreneurship: Virtual Session for Sole Proprietors

Tuesday, April 14, 2026 (9:00 AM - 10:30 AM) (EDT)

Description

Entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be a solo game.

Greater Rochester Chamber is proud to support small businesgrowth and connectivity by inviting our sole proprietor members to a complimentary virtual 90-minute Collaborative Entrepreneurship Lab, part of our Small Business in Focus series, on Tuesday, April 14, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.

This 90-minute, hands-on session is designed to help sole proprietors explore new ideas, build meaningful connections, and collaborate peer-to-peer with others in the local business community.

Led by Melissa Davis, Chief Clarity Officer of Humanity, Inc., this session will explore Collaborative Entrepreneurship, a fresh, inclusive model that goes beyond traditional networking. You’ll engage in structured, live experiments with fellow sole props to discover how co-creating value can spark new opportunities, without the pressure of long-term commitments.

Whether you're just starting out or are a seasoned business entrepreneur, you’ll walk away with a new perspective, meaningful connections, and practical tools to grow smarter, together - all in just 90 minutes, and from the comfort of your own space with this virtual session. We encourage you to continue collaborating and building relationships beyond the session.

What You’ll Gain from this Collab Lab:

  • Introduction to Collaborative Entrepreneurship: Learn what it is and how it can shift the way you do business.
  • Guided Collaboration Experiments: Participate in low-pressure, hands-on collaboration with other members during virtual breakout sessions.
  • Meaningful Connections: Connect with fellow independent business owners and consultants who are eager to support and elevate each other.
  • New Perspectives and Insights: Gain fresh ideas and unique viewpoints from likeminded peers that you might not have considered, helping each other tackle challenges and opportunities in innovative ways.
