SUMMARY:Pickleball for a Purpose Benefiting CASA of Rochester/Monroe County
DESCRIPTION:CASA of Rochester/Monroe County is excited to share that we're hosting our first ever Pickleball for a Purpose on Saturday\, October 24th @ Fairport Pickleball Club!CASA recruits\, trains\, and supports community volunteers who advocate on behalf of children whose parent(s) or guardian(s) are in Monroe County Family Court as a result of neglecting and/or abusing their children. CASAs Court Appointed Special Advocates collect their own information\, get to know each child on their case\, and write reports directly to the court\, allowing the Judge to have a more well-rounded picture of the child(ren) they're making decisions about. Advocates state their concerns regarding the child's best interests.*Division play times/schedule will be emailed and posted Wednesday the week of the tournament and will vary based on the number of participants registered for each division.**Players/teams will compete in round robin pool play to ensure multiple guaranteed matches. - The top finishers from each pool advance to a playoff bracket. - Number of matches per player/team may vary depending on total entries.Please contact CASA of Rochester/Monroe County with any questions! events@casarochester.org
